I'm Gabriela,
a Product Designer based in Curitiba, Brazil

I approach design with a deep appreciation for research and data/feedback analyses to improve user experience. I work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Customer Support teams and Stakeholders, as I believe that co-creation is essencial for the outcome of good experiences. As a designer, I also help to prioritize product initiatives and define launching strategies.

In my last experience, at Olist, I took part in the internationalization project, conducting research to understand the profile of sellers and adapting the Brazilian solution for the Mexican market. I also worked for 3 years improving the user experience for Olist's financial solution.

I am a former Interaction Designer at Electrolux, responsible for home appliances and Internet of Things global projects - I used to work directly with the Swedish team and I was allocated for a month in Stockholm.

I graduated as a Graphic Designer in Curitiba, and I also had classes in Lisbon, as part of an exchange program. I hold a postgraduate degree in User Centered Design and I'm part of the IxDA (Interaction Design Association) core team in Latin America, helping to promote events and debates about design and UX. I'm Mentor for design students and 10+ years experience as a designer and researcher.

Aside from design

I am one of the founders and coordinators of the Rock Camp - Curitiba, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women, girls, trans and non-binary people through music, promoting an environment that fosters self-confidence, creativity and collaboration.

And I have a band. 🥁
